Laminin

Ok, so once again I had the experience of watching Louie Giglio's How Great is Our God video. Every time I watch this I am blown away at how AMAZING God is. He created things that are way past my comprehension. One of the things that amazes me the most is not the big giant stars and how vast our universe is (this does amaze me though) but its the fact that God can create these amazing gigantic things but still focuses on the little tiny details of us.

Things that we cant even see like our DNA. I think it is so amazing that our DNA is so long (it could be stretched out like 6 feet!!) and its all codes that describe who we are. And guess what? God wrote out that entire description of each of us. We don't even know what all our DNA says about us but God does. How could I ever doubt the fact that God loves me and cares for me.

The most amazing thing i have seen though is this little protein that Louie talks about in his video. ITs called Laminin. Laminin is a protein that basically is vital to making sure that your overall body structures hold together. Now remember that.....Laminin is what holds us together. Without this proteing are muscles would fall apart. Now look at what God chose Laminin's structure to be.

Think about this, God chose for the cross to symbolize what holds us together. Is this not amazing!!! I wouldn't want my laminin to look or be anything else

I am new at this whole blogging thing.  But I have came to the conclusion that it is a good way to get my ideas heard.  Is that not what we are, a generation that is striving to have our voices heard? And what is wrong with that? Nothing.

So, my first blog is about just that, letting my voice be heard.  This weekend I had the privilege of not only spending a weekend with some amazing youth, but I also had the privilege for my mind to be tested on what I really believe about some touch subjects.  This morning I listened to someone preach about how there was ONLY ONE way to evangelize and that using things like music, psychology, or even our actions as an aide to evangelizing was not correct.  I didn't agree with this at all!  I think there are so many ways to evangelize to people outside of going door to door and pushing the gospel down their throats until they pray the sinners prayer right there.  Am I saying this is wrong? NO.  But i am saying that this does not work for everyone.  God gave us so many talents musically, theatrically, artistically, and yes even intellectually to use these things as an aide to showing who God is.  I believe there is not ONE way to reach others for Christ.  Some may do this by preaching the gospel to everyone they know, some may do this by songwriting, some may do this by loving others, some may do this by simply living a life that is pleasing to God, the list is endless.  So my question is why wouldn't God want us to use the gifts He has given us to reach others, and would a God who is so BIG really only have one way to connect with the lost?
